For more than two decades, Edwards Mill Bar & Grill was the neighborhood dive bar of choice. Many years later the team at Urban Food Group aspired to rebirth this local institution with a new twist. The bar, “a shiny place for shady people”, is dark and sultry with a long silky walnut bar and plush leather booths.  While it’s still the place to be, now guests have the added option of a more upscale dining room. Wrapped in stone with a dramatic steel picture frame kitchen window, large garage doors open to a garden patio while 40 massive globes shower the room with a rosy glow. Historic mill photos were commissioned with custom neon and upcycled newsprint accents the wall above an intimate dining nook.  It’s as though the dive bar went out and bought a little black dress—same attitude, new look.
