The Usual is Chef Nick Leahy’s take on a modern-day tavern. The design is airy and energetic to match the edge of the menu. Industrial yet chic, the space is anchored by a colorful bar with a nostalgic amber lit menu board and strapped seating. A custom graphic design feature shifts into focus from a distance (Arya, the Game of Thrones namesake to the building) while the dining room is grounded by booths and glowing wood panels that reveal morse code. Fluted glass and intricately cut felt panels add a delicacy to balance the strength of oak and steel louvers, rubber pendants, and concrete floors.
