ABOUT
Amy Price, founder and principal of Starling Studio, is an Atlanta-based designer and stylist creating hospitality, commercial, retail and residential spaces. She currently collaborates with some of the country’s most successful hoteliers, restauranteurs, architects and designers as a designer, design and branding consultant, and independent purchasing agent.
With a propensity for style and a love of story-telling, expressive narratives with thoughtful details can be seen throughout her body of work. Using the impact of form, lighting, color, texture, and mood, Amy curates every space to set the scene for each unique client.
Recently named one of Atlanta's 20 in their 40's, accolades include over 20 national design awards including the American Society of Interior Designers’ (ASID) top honor of Best in Show as well as the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Best of the Best award in Hospitality for Warhorse. Her work in the preservation of the historic Flatiron Building won the Urban Land Institute of Atlanta's Project of the Year. She is honored to include Restaurant of the Year Denver and Salon of the Year for Intrigue Salon on her resume, among others. Student work created in Cortona, Italy while studying art and architecture won her international recognition during the International Student Design Competition in Baden- Baden, Germany.
Her work has been published in Interior Design, Hospitality Design, Architectural Digest, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, Modern Luxury Interiors, Atlanta Magazine, Salon Today, and Metropolis among others.
Price is NCIDQ certified and holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Georgia where she graduated Cum Laude with additional studies in textile science, art, art history, architecture, and interior design with the Lamar Dodd School of Art.
